When Jordan, a NYC-based gay chef, learns that his longtime therapist, Catherine, has suddenly died, his world is upended. Struggling with grief and a flood of unanswered questions, he begins to suspect her death wasn’t accidental. As he launches an amateur investigation, Jordan ropes in fellow patients, pulls his new boyfriend into the chaos, and stalks Catherine’s widow, all in the name of closure. The deeper he digs, the more chaotic things become. His once-promising relationship starts to crack, his friendships wear thin, and his obsession with the truth leads him closer to answers about her mysterious disappearance, whether he is ready for them or not.
