# Aurora Aisyah The story tells of the relationship between a Malay family and a Chinese family living in a village. They live in harmony, and Zafran begins working in Ah Chong's orchard. Siew Lee is interested in Zafran and wants to learn about Islam. She tries to study Islam from her aunt, Soo Ling (Ain), who has converted to Islam. Siew Lee begins reading a prayer guide given by Ain. Ah Chong becomes aware of this and does not object to the relationship between his daughter and Zafran. However, Siew Lee's mother, Bak Ee, strongly opposes and wants to separate the two teenagers. Siew Lee is constantly scolded by her mother, Bak Ee, because of her friendship with Zafran. She uses various methods to break up their relationship. Siew Lee is sad and her father is also distressed seeing his daughter in such a state. Ain meets with Siew Lee to discuss the problems she is facing. Siew Lee then suggests to Zafran that they marry.
