The professional baseball team “Dreams” has long been stuck in last place. Factional disputes within the team, players repeatedly making defensive errors—the organization is on the verge of collapse. Entrusted with rebuilding the Dreams is Sakurazaki Jun, a general manager with no experience playing baseball. Although he lacks competitive experience, he is known as a “championship contractor” who has led multiple sports teams to victory. In order to address the root of the problems, Sakurazaki clashes with players and front office staff while introducing a series of unconventional reforms that defy common sense. And the first decision he makes is trading the star player, who is considered the symbol of the franchise. What is victory? What is a team? Not only the players, but also the club staff are drawn into confronting these questions.
